Honeychop Super Senior

Honeychop Super Senior Horse Feed is a soft, high fibre blend with glucosamine supplement and ingredients for joint and digestive health, to support the older horse or pony.

Honeychop Super Senior is the ideal fibre choice for older horses or those starting to show the signs of aging. It is suitable for horses and ponies both at rest and in work, including those prone to laminitis or gastric ulcers.

Part of the Free From range, Super Senior has been formulated to provide a comprehensive blend of ingredients to benefit the older horse. The palatable fibres; oat straw and low sugar meadow grasses (Timothy and Fescue) have been blended with a low starch pellet, high in oil to support condition and provides essential omega 3 fatty acids.

Glucosamine has been proven to support joint healthy and aid cartilage function and has been added at a functional level when fed at the recommended feeding rate. In addition, yeast has been supplemented as a proven probiotic for digestive support, by balancing the gut flora and pH, supporting the maintenance of a normal hindgut environment.

Marigold flowers have been added to support skin and coat health. Additionally, the herbs, Thyme, Oregano, Mint and Basil each have natural, antioxidant properties as well as a pleasant aroma, to tempt even the fussiest feeders.

FEEDING GUIDELINES:
150g – 300g per 100kg of bodyweight
Ensure the horse has access to clean water at all times. 1 stubbs scoop weighs approximately 300g.
Feed according to workload, body condition and temperament.
